In September 2020, IVS and VHEC were very excited to hold the opening ceremony for the Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (ADAI Lab) at the Mitech Center for IT and Foreign Languages. The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the two companies and representatives from many of their close partners.

As technology companies and corporations have begun to pay close attention to and invest in the Central region of Vietnam in recent years, IVS and VHEC has conducted surveys in many cities, including Da Nang, Hue, and Quy Nhon, and finally chose the coastal city of Nha Trang as the new software hub for both companies. After 2 years of development, with many noteworthy achievements, the two companies decided to invest in the creation of this Lab, demonstrating a strong commitment and belief for prosperous development of the region, as well as the foresight for potential trends and technologies in the future.

With the strategic goal of becoming a research center for the firm application of data science, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, ADAI Lab will be a bright spot to promote the development of high-tech human resources in the Central region. ADAI aims to be one of the top data science, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity laboratories in Vietnam in the next 5 years, and the top of Southeast Asia region in the next 10.

To develop human resources, ADAI works closely with local institutions such as Nha Trang University, Thai Binh Duong University, as well as foreign universities such as Kyushu University, Kanazawa Institute of Technology, and many more. At the same time, ADAI focuses on and actively connects with data scientists and artificial intelligence experts in the US and Europe who are partners of the company. In their activities, ADAI focuses on applicability and feasibility in order to bring research projects into real business practice, achieving early financial independence after up to 2 years of development.
